Thanks to the recent generosity of Bob and Silvia Schechter of Manhattan, NY and Lenox, MA, our lovely, light-filled building at 121 Depot Street is glowing with beauty. The Schechters recently donated three of Bob’s works which now hang in our general reception area and in the nursing station of the Bennington Free Clinic. Colorful and lively, the paintings have engendered much discussion among our guests, patients, volunteers and staff. Bob has been creating unique works of art for most of his life. He is best
known for his vivid watercolors and sculptures. He strives to create art that contains both energy and emotion through dynamic composition.
Art is such an important part of our lives. We love being able to share Bob’s work with our local community.
