Vegan Whipped Cream

Vegan Tofu Whipped Cream Topping

This vegan whipped cream recipe has only four ingredients and is super simple to make. Try it on your favorite ice cream or with some strawberries. It also pairs well with the Strawberry Shortcake recipe in our Food Fit Cookbook. This recipe isn’t quite like the tradition whipped cream you get from a can – it’s more like Cool Whip.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound extra-firm tofu
  • 1 tbs vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup soy milk

Directions:

  1. Combine tofu, vanilla, and honey/syrup in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth. 
  2. With machine running, slowly add the soy milk through feeder tube.
  3. Refrigerate until serving. Will keep for a week, and it can be frozen.
