New FoodFit sessions

Our Spring FoodFit session is just winding down, and we’ve had so much fun we’re already planning another for this summer! Over the last 10 weeks, our FoodFit participants have learned to cook over 30 new recipes like Cowboy Caviar, Maple Muddles, and Oatmeal Date Cookies.

More importantly, participants made new friends who can help them build healthier habits for themselves and their families. There’s really nothing quite like

sharing food to bring people together.

Interested in taking a FoodFit class yourself? Check out our FoodFit page for details on upcoming class sessions and more info about the program or give us a call at the office.

Here’s a bonus recipe for those Maple Muddles:

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup maple syrup

1 Quart cold club soda or seltzer

4 Inch piece of fresh rosemary

Ice (as desired)

Directions:

Immediately before serving, place ice in the bottom of a 2 quart pitcher. Measure maple syrup into pitcher and add rosemary sprig. Using a wooden spoon, mash down the rosemary to release its oils. Pour 1 quart of soda over the syrup, rosemary, and ice. Mingle ingredients with a single sweep of the wooden spoon (stirring aggressively will leave you soda flat). Enjoy!
